I have seen as many haughty heads upon poor men'i shoulders, as upon those of the wealthy; and the learned man's head hangs as low as tho untutored man's. No nabob here makes prominent his underlip; nor does his gold glitter on his back; the clothing of the rich man is comely but not costly; it docs not ehine scornfully upon the garment of the mechanic, or of the day-laborer. This gorge exposes on Sweet's Elocution, Parley's Common School History, icripture Geography, Dick's Works, Complete, Locke's Essays, Works of the Rev.
